I have had it a month. I like the features of this range. If there were 2 things that I could change it would be to make the bottom drawer of a heavier gauge metal, does not glide smoothly. Seal it so mice cannot get in the drawer. I would also make 3 grates rather than 2. It is very heavy. Arthritic hands makes it harder to clean the top.

I bought this a month ago and I am so happy I did! I didn't think there was a difference in stove tops or ovens, but there is! The first thing I cooked on the stove top was a simple quesadilla in the pan that I always have used to make a quesadilla. I can not even describe the difference it made. The outside was an even beautiful golden brown with just the right amount of crispness on the outside and gooey-ness on the inside! I wish I had taken a picture to share on this review!! I was convinced right then, that the quality of the appliance DOES matter!! I had similar experiences when I cooked inside the oven as well. This oven also has a lot of amazing cool and practical features. I love the griddle, the various size/power burners, the convection cooking option, and so much more!! And it was a great value!!

Modern looking and incredible cooking power

We bought this range to replace our double oven. I wish I would have done it sooner. The convection feature makes everything come out perfectly cooked. I love the griddle option and how the grates cover the whole top of the range. Easy to clean. I love the glass front which shows cooking progress without having to open the door.

I had a shiny black gas stove before purchasing this one which was all but impossible to keep clean. Not only did it show every speck of dust but it scratched miserably when trying to get hard burnt on substances off. I couldn't have been more disappointed with it. Easy to use controls and am enjoying the griddle

Most stove top cooking must be done on lowest setting on small burner to prevent cooking too hot. The grates are very heavy for a senior cook, as myself. Although I love the stylish black stainless look, it shows every crumb, smudge and drip. Within the first month, needed to call for service on center burner. Almost a 3 week wait.

WORST RANGE I HAVE EVER ATTEMPTED TO COOK ON!!!

I bought this monster 6 weeks ago as a gift to myself. Upon first use of the oven, the convection fan was not working and the motor had to be replaced. I have been cooking for over 50 years and everything I bake, roast or broil in this oven comes out either raw or overcooked. The aquaNONSENSE "cleaning" system is a complete waste. After two tries, I was on my 70-yr-old knees scrubbing out the oven by hand. The "stainless" steel cooktop is no easier to clean and the grates are hooked together in a weird way, forcing removal of both at once. The main burners are in each front corner and flames dangerously shoot out from the bottom of my 12 inch pans and 10- 12 qt. pots, forcing the consistent use of potholders. I am still trying to figure out the very user-unfriendly digital controls. I've shut off the oven multiple times by accident as well as the timer. Yesterday I incinerated a bundt cake. I still cant figure out how to set the "delay" timer. After only six weeks of daily use, I am already trying to justify how long I can deal with this beast before sending it to the trash heap and buying a range that has been designed by people who have actually cooked in a real kitchen. I didn't buy myself a gift; I bought myself the booby prize.

Inferior to the range we replaced

This unit was a replacement for a 10 yr. old Kitchen Aid range that still worked great albeit was starting to look worn. This new range works OK but is nothing special and certainly doesn't work as well as the range we discarded. The range runs much cooler than our old one...I guess it has to be adjusted. Also...the buttons take a significant amount of pressure to actuate. The fit and finish are good but the drawer to the storage compartment is flimsy. All in all...it's a prettier unit in Black Stainless vs. our old one in white...but the function and performance thus far seem to a step down. Kitchen Aid is supposed to be Whirlpool's best but I really don't see any performance or aesthetic differences between this and their less expensive brands.

Cook top works well and the oven bakes really well and consistent. The one thing negative is the central electric match system to light the top burners. Many times it will continuously strike but the gas will not ignite right away and when it does, boom.
