Feels more powerful than previous model

Maiden voyage of the new hand mixer to make a cake. While creaming the butter, I immediately noticed it feels more powerful than the previous model (Just noticed its name-Ultra Power! HA!) I still find the power cord placement annoying, but you can move it around and mostly out of the way. Overall, an improvement over my last KitchenAid hand mixer!

My daughter bought this hand mixer for me for Christmas 2017. I love the color because it goes with my kitchen color scheme. I had been wanting a handmixer that when you turn it on it doesn't go to turbo speed when on low. This mixer allows you to start off slow and work your way up. It's not real loud either which I love because I have sensitive ears. I have no complaints. So far it's the best hand mixer I have owned. I love it.

Worst costumer service ever

I bought this 5 speed hand mixer and paid over 50$ for it at canadien tire. The plastic braket that is holding of the spatula completely broke and the spring inside is gone. I can no longer use it and the costumer care does not understand that it is a cheap manufactured product and do not want to replace it for a new same/cheaper one.... Grrrrrr so frustrated!!! Amazing for people who have disabilities

I have Multiple Sclerosis, and baking is something I still love to do, but the weakness in my arms makes whisking and mixing things by hand difficult sometimes. I bought myself this hand mixer and it has 100% enabled me to continue baking and has made my life so much easier. Thank you Kitchen Aid.

Beaters poor quality

I like the mixer, works well. Beaters are not well made. Too thin and fragile and developed rust around connection sites. Mine broke after a couple years. Very disappoined.

I brought this 5 speed hand mixer that broke after single use. I called customer service, they were very well acquainted with the quality of their products and immediately decided to send another piece across. I have used it several times now and am satisfied that I have one year's warrant to standby.

I've recently taken up baking, just for fun, and needed a hand mixer that would do the trick without the hassle of having to take out my big KitchenAid mixer. Well my KitchenAid 5-Speed Hand Mixer more than does the trick. I absolutely love it. It's easy to use and I adore the fun cranberry color.

Great mixer

I've been a cook for over 50 yrs. Ive had many electric hand mixers over the years. My only semi negative issue with this hand mixer is the fact that while resting on its end (to enable the adding of more/other ingredients), I find that the mixer leans back too far which also prevents the beaters leaning fwd to drip back into the bowl. My old hand mixer was great, different brand, and I loved it but the beater bars rusted out. And I couldn't get replacement parts. I hope this Kitchen one has stronger ones.

I'm very happy with this mixer. It actually has a low speed that doesn't throw everything out of the bowl. The low speed on other mixers I have purchased was so fast that it made a mess. I use this mixer all of the time since I don't have a stand mixer. I also love the pink color!

I love kitchenaid products!

I had one hand mixer before and it was very loud and not that efficient. Ever since I bought kitchenaid hand mixer my husband and my son says, OMG, it's quiet and efficient. we can easily make the cookie dough fast and swiss meringue. :) we love it.

I received this mixer as a Christmas gift. It is light and easy to use. I've not tried any super dense mixing, but it has easily any mixing I've done. I only occasionally need a mixer, so one of those fancy stand mixers take up too much counter space, while this one hides in a cupboard until I need it. For someone with similar needs, this mixer is just right.

Purchased the Empire Red as a replacement of another mixer I had. I currently own 6+ small appliances from KitchenAid - would not use any other line of product. Mixer is quiet and powerful. Les batteurs se sont mis à tourner sur leur tige. Il se sont donc désajustés et et se sont désynchronisés. Ils se sont mis à se toucher en émettant des sons plutôt désagréables. J'aurais aimé les remplacer, mais cela n'est pas possible. Dommage car la machine fournit une bonne puissance et semble durable.

Great little hand mixer!

I like it cause its quick and compact. Light weight and small so you can wip it out in a moment mix and wipe clean. Very easy to use, not a lot of parts. They are cheaply made so its a okay price so when they break or stop working you can just buy another. So far mines been going pretty strong but this is my 3rd in about 10 years.
