Better than the Bosch!

I've used the Bosch for 12+ years. I was tired of the bread dough working it's way into the attachment housing and of the mess each time I tried to extricate the beaters. Those have not been issues with the KitchenAid, so I'm pleased. It's pretty, strong and has handled all that I've thrown at it. I am surprised, though, that it's not overly easy to pour flour and other ingredients in without a little mess. I assumed the Pro series would be flawless, but it feels like the other style where the neck bends up would make it easier to add ingredients and remove attachments and the bowl. But I'm not a professional chef; so maybe my issues are because I'm not as informed as I could be...

I bought this from the usa about a month ago. It's pretty powerful. I highly recommend it however it's extremely noisy compared to the artisian mixer! Also the mixer shakes a little bit when you use the dough hook.

I bought my mixer from Costco, and while the price was good, I think corners were cut - the blades do not reach the sides and bottom of the bowl so I have to stop, drop the bowl and mix what hasn't been reached manually. Very frustrating, even after we've tweeted all the possible adjustments. This is a once in a lifetime purchase, I wish I was happier with it. in hind sight I would have gone for a model that 'tilts back' as the drop bowl set top kind (like this one) is very awkward to use.

I've been wanting to replace my old KitchenAid for years, and finally took the leap! This is awesome, I absolutely love it. The increased bowl size and the larger stronger motor allows me to mix those large batches without feeling like I'm stressing the old mixer motor. It's much larger than my old mixer on my counter, and takes getting used to, but the convenience coming into the holiday baking season is going to be worth it.

I received this as a present. while this would probably work great for a professional, hence the name, I think it is just a bit to big for everyday/ normal use. husband got this on sale for the same price as the smaller verson. I think I would have been happier with the smaller one where the top lifts back. but overall - the machine works great

So happy to have this in my collection - mixing has become so much easier. It's extremely easy to use, quiet when mixing and easy to take apart for cleaning. Size is just right for whatever I need to put in there, too. Can't recommend this one enough.

I love my Pro 600!

I have had an older Kitchen Aid mixture...the pride of my life...but my husband just gave me the larger Pro 600 and I am thrilled with it. I have the regular attachments and bought myself the slicer grater to finish off my suite of equipment. Love this machine. Now I need to figure out who to bless with my older machine. It still has many years of work ahead of it and one of my nieces is bound to love it!

So happy to receive this mixer. I can make double batches of cookies without ingredients flying out of the bowl. There is plenty of room with 6 quarts! I like the lift stand so much more than the tilt head, and having the cover for the attachment area stay attached to the machine is a huge help as well.

The power of the motor is definitely worth the upgrade. Between my wife's bread and my pizza dough, the Pro 600 has already gotten plenty of use. The pasta attachment is an addition that will soon catch up to the bread and pizza. All I think I'll need now is a new storage area in my kitchen for the attachments that I recently discovered are available.. a juicer.. seriously?! What more can you ask for in one appliance?

My mother gifted me her stand mixers several years ago to assist me in the kitchen while my 4 children we young, I love using this mixer to assist me in mixing meatloaf ingredients and potato salad which is difficult to combine completely when you're making such a large quantity! This mixer was also used to make each childs birthday cakes each year, I cherish the fact that I was able to give them all great memories of choosing what cake and what decoration they wanted each year for their birthday. They are all grown and out of the house now, I have purchased an Artisan for each of them, but won't part with my Pro 600 for anything in the world. I absolutely Love this product!

Our older, less powerful mixer was great until I found Julia Childs' recipe for Rustic Potato Bread. That caused the poor mixer to "walk" around the counter as it kneaded. This puppy shrugs off that task. Nothing else is likely to trouble it. Love it.

I had been wanting one for a long time, so I put it to use once it was received! It is really helpful to have hands free mixing, but some things do not mix the same as a hand mixer. When using butter and cream cheese, it can take extra time to cream if they are not fully softened. It is very helpful wen making bread dough or chunky cookie dough, the things that hand mixers do not mix well.

I got this for my 40 th birthday and my only regret is that I waited for my husband to buy it all these years. I should have saved up my money and bought it for myself years ago. Saves so much wear and tear on my body, Stirring or even holding the hand mixer would get to my back and shoulders so bad. Now I just turn it on and let it do it's magic. I stand there feeling kinda silly, like I should be doing something other than peering Into the mixing bowl. Smoothest I've Ever gotten creamimg together ingredients.

This mixer replaced a Kitchen Aid I had for 25 years. I can mix and knead bread dough, beat egg whites and whip cream. When I beat the egg whites I was initially concerned that 3 egg whites were too small in volume for the large bowl,but it was no problem.
