Poor design for selection key pad!

Beautiful appearance, large capacity and I LOVE the steam dry for my delicate blouses and slacks! HOWEVER...the design of the key pad panel is awful! I have to use a flashlight to see what is being selected and I would think that $950.00 would buy me a dryer that I wouldn't have to use a flashlight to operate. Also, when using the "normal" selection, the dryer will shut off before the clothes are dry. It was a matter of trial and error with finding another selection (the "timed dry") to make sure my clothes don't sit in a damp dryer until I can get them out.

No More Fabric Softener Sheets

I'm not sure why, but my clothes come out soft and comfortable without the use of fabric softener sheets, something I have always used in the past. The static reduction feature has helped for loads and fabric where static is a problem without dryer sheets.

Beautiful machine but some tweaks needed

I love the depth of the dryer. I can fit a comforter easily. The issue i have is that it dries then stops, then dries, then stops. It is almost like its taking a break. I want it to dry straight through. No breaks. Typically i have another load in the washer waiting to go in after the first load in the dryer and don't want to wait 90 mins. Also it beeps really loud. I don't need the alarm.

Electric dryer works amazingly well

My old dryer was a GE and I remember liking it 18 years ago when it was first purchased. However it was a gas model and I couldn't over fill it or the clothes would then need additional drying time. It wasn't long before the unit needed constant repair so needless to say though I kept the unit, I wasn't happy with it. Then I moved into a new home and purchased the Whirlpool Electric Dryer, a departure from the gas unit and I was pleasantly surprised. It dries more clothes faster as the compacity is about twice the old unit. Its electric and efficient, costs less to run than the gas unit. They were even able to deliver in a few days time and install. This unit even offers a steam option so no more ironing. I also bought the matching washer and its just as impressive.

We bought this about a month ago. Overall it works great, like a dryer should. We have noticed that if you run jeans in the normal cycle (we wash them with regular clothes), they will still be damp even if you set the sensor setting to more dry. We also have an issue using the steam feature - if we use the wrinkle refresh with steam for just 1 or 2 small items our clothes with come out with large wet spots and there is noticeable moisture in the dryer. It mostly works great overall and we would buy this item again after having used it.

Excellent Dryer

We bought this dryer along with the matching washer. It has been great, it is very fast and very quiet. It dries our cloths very well without over drying them. My only complaint is that it has to be about 18" from the wall according to the installers, so it sticks out a bit. They said it was do to the dryer venting and the heat it creates.
