Bought December 2018, less than a year later, control board will not respond- locked into 1 cycle and will not start. Whirlpool said unplug, replug, flip circuit breaker on and off... nothing. Contact Whirlpool technician - has no clue either. Now I have to go to laundry mat while they figure it out. Not good- if I have to replace- no more Whirlpool. I would give a zero star if I could.

I was excited to get my new machine, then I started to use it and had a residue on my clothes. I had numerous service calls, each time I was told to do something different, none of them worked. I had to check every piece of clothes and rewash half of it. I put up with it way to long & got my fill of it. I did not buy a new machine to have to babysit it. I would not recommend whirlpool to anyone. We bought a whirlpool fridge and have had problems with the ice maker and was told after several service calls it was a problem with that model.

Have only had my washer for four weeks, but I am very happy with the results. Cleans well and is much quieter than our older model, which lasted at least fifteen years. I especially like the extra room in the drum, with out the agitator AND the sensors which decide how much water is required.

Just bought this washer and did my first medium load wash yesterday. After a normal wash cycle, some clothes did NOT even get wet enough !. I am so disappointed at this washer and wish I could return it and but I can't ! I have not much experiences with other washer, but this one for sure is worse than my plain old whirlpool washer with a impeller in the middle. It looks like it can only wash small load since the wash plate in bottom can only move around clothes at the bottom. With a medium size load, the clothes at the top never move around. It is even worse for rinse, it uses too less water that it can not even rinse the clothes clean whether for small load or medium size load. I want to tell Whirlpool that if the washer can not wash clean the clothes, it is just a piece of junk no matter how much energy it saves. I hope Whirlpool could take back the junk washer and change me a new front-load one since your product does NOT work as what is described. I am looking forward to your answer.

This washer has so many features and is so, so quiet! I have had this washer for several months and it has been somewhat of an adjustment for me compared to the old push in the dial, turn, and then pull to turn on washer. Lots of choices and a large wash tub makes sure that my clothes are washed and rinsed well. I especially love the soap and fabric softener because fresh water rinses it out of the dispensers. No more built up softener residue!

I purchased and paid for this washer 2/28/18 at Home Depot it was not delivered to me until 3/23/18 as it was not available in Fairbanks it had to be brought up from Anchorage. So was told right from the start that the warranty period began on 2/28/18 instead of when I actually got possession of it which is ridiculous. Didn't think it would be an issue thinking that something brand new should last at least longer than a year. But began having issues with the washer at 5 months of use (and not heavy use either, it is just me and my husband). The machine began making a very loud squeaking noise while washing. Called for service and they sent a local repair company over for warranty service on it. They said it needed a suspension kit and told my husband I was over loading it. I have never over loaded a washing machine, my last one (a Maytag lasted 17 years!). If anything I wash to small of loads most of the time, which you can't do with this machine very well. They had to order parts so they came back a month later and installed suspension kit and said the machine was fine. I came home from out of town, ran the machine and it was still making that horrible noise but even worse. Called service company back (played them an audio clip of the noise)they came out again said the unit needed a clutch, it was not disengaging. Waited another month. That did not work either, now they said it was drive assembly. Finally the squeaking was fixed, 12/5/18. But I have never felt that my clothes are getting clean with this washer. Some times some of the clothes have dry spots on them, the water never gets deep enough to cover some of them. Have also had soap residue left behind. It is the most awful washer and dryer (I bought the matched set) I have ever experienced. I really never thought a washer could be this bad but this one is. I wish I had never bought it and now I feel stuck with it until it completely breaks which probably won't be long now since the warranty is expired. Should have a zero rating.

After reading lots of reviews I bought the washing machine about a month ago. So easy to set up, great features, especially being able to run water over a stain. So many options for your wash, and so easy to do. Only complaint is it is a little loud.

I've had this set for a week now and let me just say with two small kids always spilling stuff on everything the built in water faucet is a life saver!! When the washer is on a cycle is nice and quiet that I hardly notice I have it on sometimes, The touch controls are awesome! I love not having to sit here and fiddle with buttons that get stuck the touch controls you hardly have to touch with your finger and it works, it also has so many washing options for about everything you can think of. The drum of the washer & dryer are huge and make it so easy to wash big items such as bedding, cushion covers from the couch etc... also this set has such a nice cute alarm for when it done, it's not like other sets where it's an annoying beep.... but out of every washer and dryer set I have had this one is by far the best ! And is my forever! I would definitely buy this set 100 times again if I had to! It makes washing loads of never ending laundry feel so much easier! And I truly don't dread washing clothes since I've had this set. If I could give it 1000 stars I would

Liking my new washing machine!

I've been using our washer for about a month. It is so different from my old 28 year old machine. The features are great on it. Still haven't used them all. The one thing that could be improved upon is a louder chime when the cycle is finished. The machine is downstairs and cannot be heard upstairs. My old machine was quite loud.
